I was reading an article in the ‘Psychologies’ Magazine about the benefits of making a vision board in relation to manifesting positive vibes in your life…making your dreams come true. The article was about a lawyer who wanted to change career path and become a writer but didn’t know where to start, so one of the exercises she was set was to create a vision board/mood board to help her realise her dreams and set her on the path to positivity.
The author of the article writes…’My last piece of homework to really cement my mindset was to create a vision board the old fashioned way with paper, scissors, glue and hours spent cutting pictures out of magazines. I sat down one Saturday afternoon with lots of magazines and cut out images of all the things I want in my life. Then I stuck them around a fabulous photo of me.’
The author writes that it helped to create a vibrant image of what she wants her life to look like……So I thought I’d give it a go myself. Wednesday night after a relatively stressful day at work, I sat down with my favourite magazines, a pair of scissors, a piece of card board and some clear plastic tape and created my very own vision board. It was a lot of fun and a creative outlet that has brightened up my room. I cut out calming images of nature and animals, but also positive words…so all I have to do is glance at it on my wall (use blue tac) and it makes me happy!
