A hygge kinda Sunday…nature & cake!!

There’s nothing quite like breathtaking Wintry/Autumnal park walks and baking on a Sunday to bring in the new year. A few weeks ago – me, mum and hubby went for a walk around Sutton Park and took some mighty good pictures if I say so myself! You can’t beat crisp, golden walks in the park….actually maybe these muffins – chocolate chip, banana and peanut butter top the walks! πŸ˜‰

Today I felt like baking something, and inspired by my latest read ‘How to Hygge – The secrets of Nordic Living’ by Signe Johansen- I got my bake on. The muffins were delicious and here’s the book and recipe – highly recommend it! Instead of using walnuts in the muffins, we used peanut butter, we also didn’t use barley malt or wholemeal flower. They were delicious.

  1. Sara! This looks like such a wonderful hygge Sunday! I love that you have that book – I’ve been looking at it on amazon! But where would most people find barley malt?! Are there any muffins left? πŸ˜‰

    Happy New Year
