A few months ago, my husband and I received some amazing news that we didn’t anticipate in our wildest dreams. Our landlord said yes to us having a dog in the apartment that we rent. We soon found ourselves at our local Greyhound Trust (Hall Green) adopting Murphy. He is an incredibly calming dog to be around (unless there are other non-greyhound dogs about!) and he really embodies mindful living. He only seems to focus on the present, and he really looks forward to his walks, cuddles and meal times. I think it’s safe to say, his days of competitive racing are behind him and he’s adapted very well to couch potato life. I think we should have called him shadow, as he follows us from room to room, not wanting to be alone! Here are a few pics of Murphy!
